DescriptionWestside Personnel is searching for proficient Machine Operators for a tubing fabrication Company that primarily operates in the automotive, ATV/UTV, and outdoor power equipment markets. The ideal candidate should be competent in managing their production cell, conducting change-overs, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring quality checks are documented appropriately.
1st SHIFT - 6am-2:30pm Monday - Friday
2ND SHIFT - 2:30pm-10:30pm Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures and guidelines
Monitor machinery during operation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure products are of high quality
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during operation and make necessary repairs
Maintain accurate production records, including the number of products produced and any defects or issues
Ensure the work area is clean and organized at all times, following safety protocols and procedures
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Basic computer skills and ability to enter and maintain accurate production records
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
