Summary: The VP of Sales is responsible for generating revenue and the execution of the Company's sales plan. This is achieved through leading and directing the sales team to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, and budgetary objectives. The role involves strategic planning, building and maintaining relationships, managing people, selling, and improving processes. This position will be a member of the Leadership Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the CBW's sales goals
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business development and goal achievement
  • Be fiscally responsible to the company
  • Manage the sales teams (field, inside, customer service, and beverage service department) to deliver profitable growth
  • Define and oversee incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Hire, develop and coach sales staff through timely and appropriate communication
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to CBW's leadership team and other company functions
  • Work closely with Marketing to establish successful channel and partner programs
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships

  • Demonstrated success building and executing against a company sales plan
  • Demonstrated success monitoring and evaluating sales rep progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of 20+ salespeople.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
  • Demonstrated experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership
