Job DescriptionDevelop and execute on Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test benches, improve and validate real time controls simulation plant models for dSPACE SCALEXIO high voltage simulators using MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow tools for Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger vehicle domains and embedded Electronic Control Units (ECUs) including Transmission Control Module (TCM) and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Test and improve Vehicle Integration Control Module (VICM) and Battery System Manager (BSM) HIL models to control Rechargeable Energy Storage System electric systems, using MATLAB, Simulink, dSPACE ControlDesk, Vehicle Spy, and ETAS INCA tools. Integrate dynamic engine, transmission and electrification plant models into Simulink based HIL model framework for HIL real-time Closed-Loop simulation. Develop, and calibrate subsystem models including sensor and actuator models including battery current sensors, and actuator models including RESS coolant pump, and High Voltage Battery Contactors. Develop, and calibrate serial communication models, and ECU behavioral models for passenger vehicle ECUs simulations, and integrate into HIL model framework.Additional Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer or related role.
