Temp to hire opportunity$21-25/hrHours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate administration and general office workflow
- Supervise (direct and/or indirect) office administrative staff, facilitate communication within the company, assist in development of procedures to make the office more efficient and productive.
- Guide office activities: seeking out opportunities to improve company policies; making sure the office environment is safe and secure and that the flow of communication and information is effective.
- Prepare reports, memos, administrative information in support of executive management team.
- Assist in organization of company and Executive Management teams, minutes, calls and related information.
- Assist Executive management team to manage his/her outlook calendar.
- Supervise and assist in maintenance of company files.
- Assist CPA/HR Manager in onboarding employees.
- Works with HR to maintain labor law posting for facilities.
- Assist Executive management and coordinates training activities and key employee development activities.
- Organizes company philanthropic events and company celebrations.
- Assist Business Manager in maintaining accruals spreadsheets and interacts with customers on advertising, markdowns, coupons, etc. Approves margins adjustments and other customer requests for deductions.
- Responsible for maintaining current insurance coverage on business policy, Certificates of Insurance, etc.
- Handle highly escalated claims including insurance claims and any other claims that have been submitted to the CEO (all customers.)
- Supervise CSR in managing cash gift cards with assistance from RSVP; purchase cards and manage mailing list.
- Assists the Executive management team in review and approval of expense reports and some AP related tasks such as General Ledger coding.
- Assist in the Executive management team to help in filing and organizing invoices, receipts, and payments as required by the team (OA)
- Serve as liaison between staff and management by analyzing and interpreting data for company procedures, policies, and workflows.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies by all team members, including sales office hours, PTO, etc.
- Support operations and sales as needed with organizing paperwork for line reviews and style out as needed.
- Ability to write reports.
- Communications and collaboration: collaborate with other administrators and support personnel, management, and clients on a regular basis.
- Organizational skills: The ability to maintain order helps ensure executives don’t miss appointments or deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Possesses strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the furniture industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in computer science, mathematics, business management, or economics
- Ability to present findings in a polished way.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
- Proficiency with statistics and dataset analytics (using SAP, Microsoft Programs, Excel)
