Description:Summary:As the Learning & Development Manager, you play a vital role in shaping the organization’s culture and driving performance through strategic learning initiatives and impactful employee experiences. You are responsible for the day-to-day leadership and oversight of key Human Resources functions, including organizational development, training, employee services, and internal communications. Your focus is on ensuring every interaction—whether with employees or guests—exceeds expectations and reinforces a positive, high-performance environment. Your leadership not only supports the growth and success of individual employees—it strengthens the entire organization.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellence
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadership
  • Establish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goals
  • Develop and implement strategic organizational development and talent management programs across all properties
  • Design and deliver training content, including new hire orientation, compliance training (e.g., sexual harassment, problem gambling), guest service initiatives, and leadership development
  • Maintain and manage training logistics including scheduling, registration, training room maintenance, vendor coordination, and promotional collateral
  • Partner with department leaders to assess needs and develop customized training solutions, including online and live learning environments
  • Oversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:Qualifications
  • 4+ years of learning & development, training facilitation, or organizational development experience, including leadership or progressive responsibility in HR or talent development functions
  • Prior operational leadership experience within the hospitality/gaming industry preferred
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering high-impact learning programs in diverse business environments
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems; Workday Learning knowledge highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt leadership style to support changing business needs and team dynamics

  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and drive results
  • Public speaking and presentation expertise; experience in developing visual aids and multimedia instructional tools
  • Experience managing employee communications, engagement programs, and internal campaigns
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and online learning platforms
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
