- Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This implies good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.
- Individual must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people, maintaining flexibility, objectivity and a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Individual must be able to complete any reasonable request of management necessary to effectively operate the department/company.
- Active involvement in Phenix Label Company's mission statement, core values, and non-negotiables.
- Act in a pleasant, courteous, and respectful manner to all internal and external customers at all times.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.
- 5 + years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources management.
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations and safety preferred.
- Preferred PHR / SPHR and SHRM‐CP / SHRM‐SCP certifications but not required.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in HRIS management and record keeping.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- English language required.
