The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.Position SummaryThe On-Site Director, QSight Hospital Operations partners with the Senior Manager QSight Operations, is responsible for the Supply Chain logistics for QSight Perpetual, QSight RFID, QSight Kanban as well as LUM distribution and bulk distribution logistics throughout the hospital. This teammate will help develop the strategic business plan and tactics necessary for Owens & Minor to manage and optimize existing services to clients and promote growth of O&M QSight through the customer's desired supply chain continuum. Upon the sale of a supply chain services or product offering to our provider customers, this role is responsible for managing the client relationship, delivering contracted services, and persuading clients of the value from utilizing services. These services may include advanced logistics services, inventory management services, or technology services that includes the management of O&M teammates to help support these services. The Director, QSight Hospital Operations develops engagement plans collaboratively with customers and manages these services through established and agreed upon key performance indicators. They manage the engagement to meet expectations that have been established in contracts, engagement plans, and general business expectations set by customers.On-Site Director QSight Hospital Operations collaborates with the Sr Manager QSight Operations. Together they manage the teammates (Managers, Leads, Analysts, Technicians and Specialists) assigned to the area or specific engagement. They schedule the time of these resources to meet the needs of the area and collaborates with the Director, QSight Hospital Operations to ensure that projects are staffed professionally and that resources maximized to ensure customer success. The Director; QSight Hospital Operations develops staffing plans that meet the needs of forecasted contract and services programs. They utilize their expertise to provide teammates with ongoing training, development and education. They interface heavily with customers including hospital executives. They collaborate with Sr Manager QSight Operations, Area Sales Directors, and other O&M teammates to provide exceptional customer service and deliver on customer expectations by ensuring optimal performance of O&M's supply chain and logistics offering.Core Responsibilities:
  • Works with appropriate O&M teammates and management to ensure continuity of customer relationships and profitability. Ensures that the O&M service offerings are integrated, where appropriate, into the operation of the supporting area.
  • In collaboration with the Sr Manager, QSight Operations and other O&M leadership, develops a strategy for communicating, streamlining processes, increase efficiencies, data analytics and optimize PARs
  • Tracks and reports specific performance indicators to monitor the success of the engagement; identifies issues and resolves obstacles to ensure success.
  • Meets with strategic customers from each area to develop business and implementation plans. Leads, plans, directs and coordinates the implementation efforts of O&M towards the accomplishment of both Customers and O&M business goals and objectives, ensuring profitable services growth within their area of responsibility.
  • Manages the engagement process for all projects, advanced logistics services, inventory management services and technology services in the "area" assigned. Creates infrastructure to rapidly roll out new initiatives. Ensures engagements are staffed in a consistent and professional manner. Hires, trains and manages teammates for associated area. Performs annual performance reviews of teammates assigned to his/her area of responsibility.
  • Communicates engagement status to customers and to O&M account management. Collaborates with other O&M leaders to deliver Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Business Reviews and present performance indicators relative to the services managed. Insures invoices are in agreement to the status and within the scope of agreements
  • Collaborates with internal parties to facilitate the resolution of issues and to ensure consistent and correct communications. Collaborates with the Director of Supply Chain Performance to write statement of work (SOW) and contracts to support proposals. In collaboration with Director, SOW and contracts to plans and staffing. Educates and trains staff members and sales force on programs and services. Works with Sr Manager QSight Operations and Sr. Director of Customer Excellence and Implementation to ensure consistency with all programs and services.
  • In collaboration with DSCP, manages RFP's for services in the area assigned.
  • Assists in identifying and qualifying potential logistics/technology/services customers.
  • Assists in the creation of sales materials for internal and external purposes to sell O&M services.
  • Manages expenses in adherence to the contract
