- Manage the repair work orders, including coordinating work flow, scheduling, and determining reparability
- Perform repair estimates on damaged vehicles
- Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet project deadlines
- Assist technicians in developing their skills with support of the Body Shop Manager
- Schedule repair work and assign technicians to segments that match their skill level to ensure quality
- Review completed work through color matching and inspection of brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
- Responsible for creating a safe work environment
- Advise direct reports on complicated jobs, techniques, and approaches through trouble shooting or teaching practices
- Visually inspect parts after processing for defects
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Diesel technology degree, collision repair degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in industry preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical card
- Comprehension of basic software applications related to diagnostics, engine parameters, and product preference guidelines
