- Position Summary
- 2 Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the English Department
- Start Date
- Positions available on or after September 2, 2025 and ending on or before May 22, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with communication and greeting visitors.
- Assist with telephone inquiries and route to the appropriate person.
- Handle incoming messages.
- Assist in retrieving and sort incoming mail and distribute appropriately.
- Handle on campus deliveries.
- Assist in basic troubleshooting with technology (printers, computers, copy machines, etc.).
- Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates the ability to utilize office equipment (copy machine, fax, scanner, etc.) and follow verbal instructions.
- Demonstrates reliability, responsibility, and punctuality.
- Demonstrates good customer service and telephone etiquette skills.
- Demonstrates experience with Microsoft Office Software and TEAMS.
- Demonstrates the availability to work between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
- Salary Range
- $16.50 per hour.
