A global leader in turnkey project solutions is seeking a QHSE Coordinator to oversee and strengthen quality, health, safety, and environmental systems across its operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in QHSE management and ISO certification processes. Working collaboratively, the successful candidate will enhance compliance and risk prevention by implementing HSE systems, coordinating audits, and supporting ISO certifications while driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of safety and quality.Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Salary: $30-35/hrResponsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain HSE systems ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Lead the planning and execution of ISO 45001 certification processes.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Develop and manage employee HSE training matrices, ensuring mandatory safety training is completed and documented.
  • Prepare, review, and investigate incident reports, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems for all HSE documentation.
  • Regularly update the risk register and communicate relevant information promptly.
  • Promote incident reporting and ensure thorough investigations of accidents, near misses, and incidents.
  • Help the company maintain ISO 9001 by conducting internal audit and maintaining QMS up to date.
  • Lead the NCR process.
  • Ensure all equipment are calibrated.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
  • Understanding labor law, social regulations, and environmental codes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven experience with ISO 45001 certification processes.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems, risk analysis, PPE, and hazard identification
  • Strong knowledge of local HSE legislation and standards
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to educate and raise awareness among staff
  • Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments effectively
  • Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
