  • Load and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
  • Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher May occasionally use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Builds pallets and applies all necessary paperwork to the pallet and moves pallet to a shipping staging area.
  • Performs off line tasks as needed, (floorwork, cleaning trays, giving breaks, fixing packing errors)
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
Qualifications
  • Should be able to stand up to eight hours.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment, manual dollies, pallet jacks, tape fasteners, related equipment
  • The ability to work on an inserter attached to the top or back of a press
Additional Information**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.00- $17.34 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
