- Collaborate with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management.
- Partner with a larger team including Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care and Neurology to provide medical and perioperative care during critical illness.
- Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice.
- UW Health's Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Advisory Council ensures that your voices are heard. This unique advisory council serves to promote, support, advocate and advise on APP practice and provide expertise and counsel on APP roles across the organization.

- Advanced practice providers with experience or an interest in Neuroscience ICU (NSICU), acute care, neurocritical care, surgical ICU (SICU), and medical ICU (MICU) would succeed on this team.

- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Acute Care only (Adult or Adult/Gerontology will be considered only if previous ICU experience).
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
