Job Title: VP, Information Technology Department: Information TechnologyJob Status: Full Time FLSA Status: ExemptGrade: 15 $117,425.99 - $176,138.98 Amount of Travel: Some TravelPositions Supervised: IT Help Desk Manager, AVP, Network Manager, OnBase Technical AnalystReports To: SVP, Chief Information OfficerPOSITION SUMMARYThe Vice President, Information Technology is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of Information Technology is met across the Bank including but not limited to, technical support, network infrastructure, cybersecurity and project management. Manages a team of IT professionals to achieve strategic, operational and cybersecurity objectives. Responsible for further developing the team’s professional and technical expertise. Works with the business units bank-wide to understand the strategic roadmap of the Bank and contribute to the development of a supporting IT strategic vision. Plans and implements a variety of hardware, software and cybersecurity solutions to achieve these strategic and operational objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Works with the IT Team and management to assess current state capabilities and propose recommendations to address deficiencies in IT architecture and systems necessary to maintain security, availability, performance, and to support the delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Supports the annual budget planning process with recommendations for changes with associated cost estimates, resource needs and timelines; communicates variances in the approved budget to management.
  • Conducts extensive requirements analysis; researches and proposes technology solutions and establishes and manages implementation timelines.
  • Assesses and manages ongoing risks associated with third parties/vendors, technologies, and the evolving cybersecurity landscape; provide periodic metrics and reports of technical and cybersecurity risk indicators.
  • Utilizes change management processes to support proactive and transparent communications with Stakeholders about scope, impacts, risks and mitigation plans associated with technological changes.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining preventative and detective cybersecurity controls and being the technical lead for incident detection, response and remediation activities.
  • Manages resources supporting daily operations and projects.
  • Maintains accurate authorized hardware and software inventory; establishes replacement schedule to support proactive budget planning; proactively manages licensing, renewals, end of support and end of life cycles to ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements; proactively manages unauthorized hardware and software assets.
  • Oversees the support, monitoring and maintenance of technologies, including but not limited to; virtual and physical servers, cloud-based technologies (Azure, MS365), switches, routers, storage, data backups, data replication, VLANs, remote access systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, telecom system, ATMs, etc.
  • Promotes a culture of service and learning to provide exceptional Help Desk experiences and improve the adoption and effective utilization of technology throughout the bank.
  • Performs periodic Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan & Policy updates and testing to ensure resumption of business within stated RTO and RPO objectives.
  • Understands, implements and complies with regulatory requirements and guidance (SOX, FFIEC/OCC, GLBA, SEC/FINRA, PCI). Ensuring evidence of compliance exists to support periodic audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Leads, manages and develops teams; evaluates their professional and technical skills and recommends career development and training to support their effectiveness and growth.
  • Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
  • Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Minimum of 5-7 years managing infrastructure, technology, cybersecurity and technical teams for a medium to large business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and information technology management required; MBA Preferred.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint when applicable.
  • Ability to provide ongoing leadership and coaching to new as well as senior technologists.
  • Approachable and collaborative communication style with team and business partners.
  • Working knowledge of Automate, PowerShell and other automation and low/no code technologies.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity & IT risk management, mitigation and response tactics, networking and infrastructure concepts; vendor management.
  • Experience with data classification, management, analytics/report writing, enterprise content management, OCR, workflow, cloud technologies, including Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft/Office 365.
