- Core responsibilities are to oversee 340B impact analyses and modeling, covered entity eligibility, and 340B policy maintenance.
- Develop 340B modeling for the 340b COE initiatives, such as “follow the dollar” stakeholder analyses to assess the impact of potential/ executed mitigation efforts, the potential impact of proposed or enacted government legislation or the impact of 340B program abuses. Support modeling needs for cross-functional partners, such as Government Affairs, Legal and Finance.
- Develop 340B impact modeling for trends at the market level to support the 340B COE Strategy & Innovation Group.
- Develop and operationalize a 340B site eligibility vetting process and platform to operationalize the analysis to determine if a 340B Covered Entity and or it related accounts/ locations are eligible to receive a discount. Ensure integration with related systems (For example Govt. Pricing, Demand Planning), and manage formal Covered Entity communication. Lead the site eligibility vetting process and manage the files and data to supply to the Government Pricing Class of Trade Group to integrate with their account eligibility roster provided to wholesalers
- Monitor and track pricing compliance (reconciling to the wholesaler chargebacks) and coordinate with the Trade Team, to ensure wholesaler Compliance in enforcing Covered Entity account eligibility.
- Refine 340B Site Eligibility vetting by incorporating a broader set of factors that impact specific account and location eligibility, to include such aspects of pharmacy type, entity ownership, state law, distribution laws, AbbVie policies, etc.
- Maintain and keep current the AbbVie 340B policies and processes.
- Develop and foster robust internal relationships with other key stakeholders, including but not limited to Market Access/Trade, Employer Teams, Finance, Patient Services, MABI, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree in business or analytical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, etc.) preferred
- 5-7 years analytical experience required preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Requires minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 5 years in the healthcare industry with significant financial, reporting, forecasting and modeling experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience with IQVIA data sources (e.g. HCOS data), Rx claims data, PBM rebate data.
- Knowledge of 340B flows preferred.
- Working knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment for manufacturers in the pharmaceutical space.
- Experience leading and developing a team and building a positive culture.
- Experience building processes, putting into production prototype concepts, and improving the efficiency of operations
- Possesses a curious and persistent mindset, comfortable in ambiguity.
