Assist Radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical history. Performs darkroom, clerical and transport functions. Participates in standby call. Performs basic patient care with scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in Radiology Department as needed. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.The value youll bring to the team:Performs CT and imaging procedures.Maintains records of examinations performed.Obtains and documents patient clinical history and explains procedure.Positions patients and equipment, and selects technical factors to produce procedure images and data as needed to meet radiologist standards.Sends images to QC station and then to PACS and archives imagesEnters patient demographic information into logs and system.Qualifications - ExternalLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:Must be a graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. program with current A.R.R.T registration and state license in Radiography.CT/X-ray registered and two years' experience.Licensure by the KSLRT required.BLS required.
