Develops procedures and policies for
administrative activities, such as records maintenance, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, and other related internal operations. The Manager, Administrative Operations provides administrative support for multiple programs and projects. This individual will support the Chairman, SAO, Director of Administrative Operations and other Directors in the Chairman's Office.Responsible for the accreditation, organization and execution Medicine Grand RoundsHandles purchasing for the Chairman's OfficePlans and executes events for visiting professors and Department and Institution Candidate searches, serves as an expert resource for event management processes and logistics.Prepares itineraries, UM required forms, and escorts the visiting professor around campusAssists with scheduling for DOM leadership teamCollaborates on new and ongoing projects as assigned by Director(s), SAO, or ChairmanAssists with Chairman's clinical schedule.Assists with annual department communicationsManages the DOM Chair Signature Inbox to prepare, review, and approve credentialing and financial forms for Department faculty and staff following internal guidelines and proceduresWorks with external vendors to secure required services for the DOMHelps manage the Chairman’s calendar when neededAssists in organizing all events for the DOM.
