- Drives Generic sales in a targeted group of accounts.
- Achieves monthly sales/activity goals established in conjunction with department counterparts. This may include but not limited to call volume, % of calls leading to an order, order volume and revenue.
- Monitors and analyzes reports and data to measure profitability growth of Contracted Generics; develops and implements strategies to ensure continued success of that growth.
- Demonstrates meticulous follow-through when interacting with customers; curates solutions and sales messages to meet the customer’s needs and continuously follow-ups to capture additional business and revenue opportunity. Use of SalesForce will be mandatory to update customer activity to ensure visibility to field sales counterparts.
- Updates existing customers on any new programs, promotional activity, promote different pricing strategies, new/existing products and services as well as inquires and assists with any current issues or unresolved problems.
- Collaborates with Field Sales, specifically the Sales Executive role, to create account-specific strategies taking into consideration such factors as customer's vision and goals, current Contract Generic sales and compliance, and generics best practices.
- Develops a deep understanding of customer needs through dialogue; develops competitive knowledge at both the market level (e.g., services provided by competitors) and the specific customer level (e.g., what is the specific competitive environment for this customer) to teach the customer and tailor the solution allowing for targeted and appropriate application of Cencora Suite of Solutions.
- Partners with Corporate Generics team and other Generic Directors to implement a single, consistent Contracted Generics approach.
- Aligns on a single set of components to incorporate in account-specific compliance and new sales strategies.
- Supports and executes individual programs to drive Contracted Generic PRxO sales (e.g., new product launches, brand drug conversion, compliance efforts.
- Provides feedback, industry knowledge and specific recommendations to Corporate Generics team on programs, policies, products and prices.
- Must be willing to travel on a limited basis to annual meetings.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Two years of phone/call center experience
- Ability to adjust to daily product/procedure changes
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships/committed to customer satisfaction
- Competent understanding of management, sales planning and goal setting, successful strategic and selling techniques, and related information
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of disseminating information
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships
- Ability to interpret customer financial data and develop successful strategies to deal with financial issues that are identified
- Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace
- Strong creativity skills; focused and disciplined
- Competent understanding of Customer Value Chain
- Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
