Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrows cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases.The role youll contribute:The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements patient care for assigned patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in accordance with the Florida Occupational Therapy Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 468.203 (6): Occupational therapy assistant means a person licensed to assist in the practice of occupational therapy, who works under the supervision of an occupational therapist, and whose license is in good standing.The value youll bring to the team:Demonstrates through behavior the core values of Quality & Service Excellence, Community Wellbeing, High Ethical Standards, Stewardship and Inclusiveness.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant will practice within the Scope of Standards of Occupational Therapy practice.
Assessment: Collection of comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Accurately assesses and records patient progress towards attainment of expected outcomes.
Diagnosis: Assists the Occupational Therapist in the review of assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues. QualificationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:Graduate of an accredited School for Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Current Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant License
