- Evaluate test requirements, based on specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements.
- Design, create and run automated test cases.
- Develop test plans and procedures.
- Execute and document tests.
- Identify and recommend test equipment, production equipment, fixturing, or tooling needed to meet product specifications.
- Prepare reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings. Lead or contribute input for improvements.
- Train team members on utilization of test equipment and procedures.
- Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications.
- May assist with the request for quote process, as related to needs for the testing function.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software test automation for embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python with 5+ years of experience for test case development and framework automation.
- Hands-on experience with Vector tools such as CANoe/CANalzyer or like CAN tools.
- Experience with Qt/QML/Squish or equivalent GUI automation tools.
- Familiarity with virtualization/emulation environments.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and standards such as but not limited to: ISO11783 (ISOBUS), J1939.
- Experience with git and supporting CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Robot Framework or similar test automation frameworks.
- Experience with Linux and build system/project frameworks such as Yocto.
- Background in agricultural embedded systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and collaborate across global teams.
