This position will report to the Head of Global Value & Health Economics and will lead the US payer value demonstration strategy for the ATTR-CM indication. Will be responsible for development of AMCP Dossier and budget impact model, as well as, identifying and interfacing with regional and national HEOR and RWE experts and organizations who conduct real-world outcomes research. Supports payer team by training on HEOR related tools and with HEOR related payer interaction. Also, contributes to the conception and execution of innovative Market Access strategies to ensure patients access for all BridgeBio affiliate therapies and evolving product pipeline portfolio, providing insights to clinical trial development, clinical outcome assessments, and insights into competitive assessment.The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to collaborate with external stakeholders and cross-functionally with Market Access, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Planning. Effective collaboration and communication with external customers such as health care professionals and payers including presenting and participating in HTA appraisal committee &/or reimbursement meetings is also critical.Responsibilities
  • Assess HEOR needs related to specific diseases and pipeline assets and develop and execute programs of research aimed at preparing the necessary data package for products in development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including clinical development teams, medical affairs, market access and marketing to ensure relevant health economics measures are integrated into clinical studies and commercialization plans
  • Interacts effectively with patient groups, clinical experts, and payers to understand the burden of diseases that are the target of BridegBio products
  • Develop and validate new Patient Reported Outcomes measures, as appropriate, for inclusion across clinical trials, registries, and prospective real-world studies for BridgeBio affiliates where appropriate
  • Lead the development of appropriate data dissemination plans and communicate evidence generated via publications, conference presentations, and other appropriate channels
  • Possess extensive knowledge of health economic model design and analysis and be able to manage development in order to demonstrate complex value data in a straightforward and understandable manner to internal stakeholders, external KOLs, payers and HTA agencies

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Master's degree in health economics or related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in health economics and outcomes research
  • Experience of Rare Diseases and HEOR early stage development activities and strategy
  • Launch experience in a pharmaceutical company
  • Proven track record of evidence synthesis (systematic literature review, indirect comparisons, etc.)
  • Proven track record of developing economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact)
  • Strong understanding of payer and HTA needs, and expertise in developing and delivering high quality submissions
  • Domestic and international travel required, expected to be 10-20% of the time and as needed

At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.Salary$220,000—$300,000 USD
