Corporate:Light & Wonder’s corporate team is comprised of incredible talent that works across the enterprise, defying boundaries to provide essential services in an extraordinary manner to ensure the success of the organization and the well-being of employees.Position SummaryThe Chief of Staff, CEO/CFO works closely with the CEO and CFO, their EAs and the L&W Executive Leadership Team to ensure optimal focus and use of time for the CEO and CFO. This role helps manage and optimize L&W’s Executive Team business management system to ensure key meetings are successful through high standards of content readiness, impeccable action item tracking and resolution, and ensuring the right reviews, follow-ups and decisions happen timely. The role will be accountable for strategic, high visibility program management and special projects around operational excellence, Finance transformation and high priority board deliverables. This could include our most high visibility strategic projects, operational excellence across all business units and/or supporting functions, Finance Transformation, and high-priority Board deliverables. The Chief of Staff will at times attend meetings on behalf of the CEO and/or CFO to prepare digests for visibility or decisions needed and develop and distribute communications for internal and external audiences. This role will work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and the Chief People Capability Officer for key meeting planning, and with the entire Executive Leadership Team to drive alignment and delivery on the critical topics enabling our success. The ideal candidate is experienced in doing the above in ways that build a culture of healthy high-performance teamwork across L&W’s top team.Essential Job Functions:Manages the business management system with a key focus on business productivity and key milestone attainment in line with overall financial and strategic objectives.Serves as a liaison between the CEO and CFO offices regarding operational activities across business divisions and supporting functions, ensuring Officers have optimal access to topics and talent.Strategically manages the combined calendars for these Officers.Monitors and suggests improvements to workflows, teamwork and fiscal management.Organizes CEO/CFO office processes, procedures and daily operations to ensure optimal efficiency.Prioritizes work to maximize CEO/CFO impact and business achievement.Owns or facilitates initiatives and special projects with discipline regarding risk management, cost containment, resource utilization, and on-time completion.Coordinates team meetings, presentations and collaborates with organizational communications.Compiles and analyzes data for reports and presentations; develops presentations.Enables or delivers timely updates and effective interaction points with the Executive Chairman of the Board and the Vice Chair.Accountable for ensuring effectiveness of how the CEO and CFO’s combined office is run, including providing direction to the Executive Assistants and ensuring strong teamwork across these 3 roles.QualificationsQualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field such as economics or finance. Master’s degree preferred.Required Experience:10-15 years of experience in a business or executive management position overseeing teams with multiple functions, globally.Clear demonstration of capability in planning, overseeing, and implementing business management systems and methodologies.Clear demonstration of project management experience planning, coordinating, managing to budget, analyzing data, and making decisions.Proven track record of executing multiple business projects and programs simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to align and mobilize teams and talent, building healthy culture in the process.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.Demonstrated ability to use discretion.High degree of trust and dependability.Strong organization and planning skills with attention to detail.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple programs and tasks simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Low ego, non-hierarchical, practiced in creating healthy, high-performance culturePhysical Requirements:Office environment.Work Conditions:May require weekend and evening hours.
