Commercial Construction Account ExecutiveOur client, a leading building and service provider for mechanical, electrical and plumbing building systems, is seeking a Commercial Construction Account Executive to join their team. This is a key role in the organization, responsible for developing and managing client relationships, securing new business, and overseeing accounts within the commercial construction sector.   • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial construction
  • Prospect and qualify new business leads using creative and strategic approaches
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to align project goals with customer expectations
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, bids and presentations
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to the sales process and administrative responsibilities
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and industry developments
  • Implement job loop strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales or account management within commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of construction process, terminology and project lifecycles
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and industrious approach
  • Grit, determination, and goal-oriented focus
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Skilled in consultative and solution-based sales techniques
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
  • Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to create conceptual estimates and collaborate with the estimating team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical/plumbing sales or
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical/plumbing project manager or
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in field as a foreman or superintendent level HVAC, Sheetmetal or Plumber
  • Strong working knowledge of the mechanical and plumbing industry
