  • Department: Virtual Safety Monitor
  • Schedule: Full Time; Nights, 3 (12-hour) shifts/week. Office setting environment, no hands on patient care. Will work every 3rd weekend, 1 major winter and summer holiday per year on rotating basis.

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.ResponsibilitiesProvide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
  • Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
  • Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
  • Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.
RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
