Construction Manager Fiber/Small Cell

This role is critical in supporting operational excellence and ensuring accuracy in financial and splicing processes while keeping construction projects on track. You will collaborate across teams to streamline workflows, monitor deliverables, and provide clear, timely reporting to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit purchase orders;process contractor invoices related to splicing activities.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, vendor PO management, customer PO invoicing, and resolution of past-due invoices.
- Provide administrative support to the Network Construction Implementation team.
- Review splice packages, coordinate with vendors, and ensure accuracy in billing and close-out documentation.
- Track project deliverables, monitor deadlines, and report variances.
- Communicate issues to management before they reach critical status.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and assist with milestone management.
- Order police services for splicing activity when required.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years in project billing, construction administration, or splicing management.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency with purchase orders, project financials, and invoicing.
- Ability to review and understand engineering drawings and splice packages.
- Familiarity with fiber splicing processes and small cell deployment requirements.
- Strong financial and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and management.
- Skilled at problem-solving, tracking progress, and reporting on variances.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
