Key Job Details RNFA Travel Nurse Assignment
- Location: Tampa, FL 33607 Prime Florida healthcare job location with access to beaches, entertainment, and dining.
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1890 - $2030
- Facility: Short Term Acute Care Hospital, Level II Trauma Center, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- Assignment Length: 20 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 End: 2/16/2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts/week (07:00 17:30)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- On-call: Required (8 shifts per 6 weeks)
- Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend (2 shifts per 6 weeks)
- Guaranteed Hours: Apply after first call off per pay period
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- EMR: Cerner (Cerner EMR experience preferred)
- Parking: Provided
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state (required at time of application)
- Minimum 1 year of recent RNFA experience in the operating room, including vascular surgery cases
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Experience in Level II Trauma (required); Level I Trauma (preferred)
- Pediatric case experience preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (per 100-mile radius rule)
- Ability to pass EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Assist in operating room vascular surgeries, including open heart and vascular procedures
- Perform and assist with angiograms, aortograms, EVAR, TVAR, TCAR, and open AAA procedures
- Work in a hybrid OR environment with advanced surgical technology (Da Vinci, Cori, Rosa, Mazor robots)
- Provide care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, radiology, social services, etc.)
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR
- Comply with hospital policies, including smoke-free environment and regulatory requirements
