  • Compassionate, patient-focused team player
  • Experience working in a hospital environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Basic EMT Certification, Military Medic experience, or Nursing Student with completion of fundamental nursing clinical in RN program desired
  • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA and patient safety protocols
  • Ability to perform technical procedures, safely transport patients, and support surgical environments

Check out our employee perks here!What You Will Do:Support the delivery of personalized care in the Same Day Surgery unit by assisting nurses and physicians in a team-based environment focused on quality and safety. Help maintain a clean, orderly, and patient-ready space and ensure safe, effective patient transport and preparation.
  • Perform surgical shave preps and maintain aseptic technique
  • Transport and deliver blood, medications, and required items per protocols
  • Assist with Same Day Surgery procedures by obtaining equipment and ensuring cleanliness
  • Safely transport patients using proper body mechanics and infection control standards
  • Maintain a safe patient environment-locking beds, raising side rails, and returning equipment to proper locations
  • Support environmental cleanliness by assisting with room turnovers, cleaning stretchers and wheelchairs, and managing equipment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support team and patient needs
