Pay: $120,000 - $175,000 per yearAre you a seasoned finance and operations leader with expertise in the HVAC or construction industry? We're seeking a Regional Finance & Operations Director/Controller to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company.This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll combine technical accounting expertise with strategic insight, supporting executive leadership and driving efficiency, growth, and financial integrity across multiple entities.What You'll DoOversee all accounting functions including GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliations across multiple business entities.Lead job costing to ensure every project is accurately tracked for profitability.Manage WIP (Work-In-Progress) reporting, collaborating with project managers to monitor progress and performance.Oversee AIA and progress billing, ensuring timely and accurate contract billing.Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in full compliance with GAAP.Develop and enforce strong internal controls to support scalability and operational integrity.Prepare for audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.Consolidate financials across divisions and present clear, actionable reports to senior leadership.Mentor and lead a small accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); CPA preferred.8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a controller or senior leadership role.Prior experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical contracting (required).Strong knowledge of WIP accounting, job costing, and contract billing practices.Proficiency with construction-related accounting software (e.g., Foundation, Viewpoint, Sage 300 CRE, QuickBooks Contractor Edition, or similar ERP).Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally.Benefits401(k) with company matchingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementEmployee discountsAnd moreScheduleStandard 8-hour shiftIn-person roleThis role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and wants to make a lasting impact in a growing construction and HVAC firm.Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $175,000.00 per yearEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacyThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
