Atlantic Staffing is accepting resumes for seasoned Warehouse Managers in the Raleigh, NC area!This is a Temp-To-Hire opportunity for the right candidate.Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
Safeguards warehouse and office operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems.
Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, as current needs change.
Implementing and enforcing safety regulations, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, and maintaining a safe working environment
Monitoring and managing warehouse expenses, including labor, utilities, and supplies, to maximize profitability
Monitor and schedule the company’s vehicles for inspections, oil changes, recalls, etc.
Develop and implement procedures for daily operations
Coordinate the shipment of goods
Purchase office, vehicle, and safety supplies
Accident investigations, First Aid supplies, and Jobsite Safety Inspections
Maintain and troubleshoot PC’s, Tablets, Laptop, Internet, and Phone System.
Must be very comfortable with accounting flow of purchase orders, invoicing, PO Receipts, and Truck Stock Transactions
Building and grounds maintenance and repairs, tool procurement, tracking, maintenance and repairs
Qualifications of the Warehouse Manager:
Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work
Proficient with computers & excellent knowledge of software and applications
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Understanding of safety rules
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager
Must have strong computer skills
Must have strong date entry skills
Must be able to obtain EPA Universal Certification within 30 days
Must have a Valid NC State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record
Must have a valid Forklift Operation Certification
Be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screen
OSHA 30 Certification Preferred
Hours & Pay of the Warehouse Manager:
Starting pay is DOE / $50,000 - $70,000
Monday – Friday
8 AM – 5 PM
