As a Production Assembly Coordinator, you play a critical hands-on role as you lead an effort to turn components and parts into fully operational, home electronics. Working closely with a small, dedicated team in a warehouse setting, you’ll enjoy a collaborative and dynamic work environment. By adhering to set standards and procedures while exercising strong attention to detail, you ensure products delivered to customers exceed their expectations of quality.Responsibilities
  • Planning and Coordination: Responsible for shift scheduling, inventory reporting, implementation of production plan, coordination with external vendors contact to include shipping and receiving; maintain assembly space operations and resources.
  • Workspace Preparation: Gather and organize all required materials and components before beginning the assembly process while ensuring accountability of inventory.
  • Initial Inspection: Conduct examination of raw materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards before beginning the assembly process.
  • Subassembly Formation: Follow a predefined assembly sequence for each subassembly and component.
  • Performance Testing: Verify the functionality of each subassembly ensuring the unit powers up seamlessly, charges phones efficiently, and operates in accordance with set standards before moving forward with final assembly.
  • Final Product Formation: Construct the final product by combining subassemblies and other components.
  • Final Product Inspection: Meticulous inspection of the fully assembled product to ensure it meets all quality standards and specifications with no defects.
  • Packaging & Fulfillment: Ensure each product is packaged properly to efficiently and accurately fulfill customer orders while maintaining accurate inventory figures in an inventory management system. Maintain returns, warranty and rework processes. Continuous Process Improvement: Actively identify opportunities for improvement within processes and workflows to enhance the overall assembly process.
Requirements
  • Minimum education requirements of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Attention to detail with the ability to navigate step-by-step procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Preferred: Work Experience in Assembly, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, and Shift Lead Roles; familiarity with software systems to include Google Workspace and ShipStation
Benefits
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience with hourly pay starting at $18/hour.
