- SCADA system administration, programming support, detailed documentation, and the management of network devices across a variety of widely dispersed, isolated, and secured network environments.
- Building of displays, user interfaces.
- Logic processing and database design and maintenance activities.
- Support of software/hardware engineering needs, including the specification of workstations, servers, network equipment, HMI's, front-end processors, IEDs, data concentrators, and RTU's.
- Programming and maintenance of RTU's and data concentrators used in hardwired and integrated configurations, utilizing protocols such as DNP, Modbus, and SEL.
- Design and installation of high-resolution video display equipment including interfaces and support equipment.
- Development of procedures to ensure compliance with GMP, NERC, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Support of data management systems, including data historian, ICCP, ISO-NE connected devices (RIGs), and Live Data systems.
- Monitoring and management of a variety of system tools including intrusion detection, system log management, and network monitoring systems.
- Participation in project teams that engineer, design, construct, and commission substation, generation, and other facilities, consistent with project schedules and cost objectives. Provide internal consulting and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA and other control systems.
- Working with SMEs (hydro operators, protection engineers, and system operators) to design useful system tools, including logic, alarms, and screen designs to assist in informed operational decisions.
- Collaborating closely with security and IT staff, as well as other utilities and regulators to assure all relevant procedural and system requirements are met.
- Strict adherence to and compliance with GMPs safety practices and protocols is critical to this role.

- Programming skills in various languages, including Ladder Logic, Modbus, Visual Basic, and various scripting languages are a plus.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP theory, LANs, WANs, and computer operating systems is key.
- Must possess the ability to work safely and to anticipate and satisfy the needs of internal and external customers and be a strong customer service advocate for the Company.
