
Plating Team Lead

- Coordinate and execute the daily production activities of the plating team, focusing 60% on team coordination and working with gold metal plating, and 40% on audits and documentation.
- Ensure work is performed efficiently and in compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Monitor and maintain process parameters for various plating operations such as electroplating, anodizing, and passivation.
- Ensure all plating operations comply with NADCAP and other industry-specific regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing for and participating in NADCAP audits, internal audits, and customer visits.
- Train, mentor, and support plating team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Review work orders, process instructions, and job travelers for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct inspections to ensure product quality and consistency throughout the plating process.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure traceability of plated parts.
- Identify process improvements and work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to implement solutions.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a safe working environment.

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Lab Tech in plating company or minimum 2 years of hands-on plating experience as Plating Tech in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Experience with NADCAP standards
- Strong understanding of plating techniques and surface finishing processes
