This multi-year project will include mass grading, and vertical construction projects at a confidential job site in the Dallas metropolitan area (and will require relocation to Dallas, TX).As a Construction Administration Manager, you would be responsible for a complex data center construction project, managing and overseeing the quality of construction at the project site. In this role you will act as a quality assurance manager representing the owner with regards to all construction activities. Duties include tracking that special inspections and materials testing is being completed, overseeing RFIs and submittals, attendance at project meetings and provide verification overall that the quality documentation of the project is being completed per the owners' requirements.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction Materials Testing, which will be crucial for success in this position.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the quality assurance program at the project site.
  • Reads and interprets plans and specifications at various stages of a project.
  • Initiates actions needed to keep construction progress on schedule.
  • Solves on-site problems and situations regarding construction of the project and design modifications.
  • Works in all types of terrain and weather conditions on project sites in various stages of construction.
  • Identifies and avoids potential hazards for workers and the public in and around project sites.
This position includes:

  • 5 or more years' experience performing construction materials testing, observation, or construction administration.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and codes.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving history.
  • Schedule flexibility.
  • American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Grade 1, Nuclear Gauge Safety Training, and OSHA10 or OSHA30 preferred.
  • Associate's degree in a construction related field preferred.
