Located in Brighton, CO, just 3 miles from I-25, Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver is a growing school, offering grades K-8 for the 24-25 school year with plans to expand to K-12 by adding one grade per year.Our specials teachers model good character and provide excellent instruction in their content areas based on classical pedagogy and curriculum. We seek teachers with high standards of excellence, a professional demeanor, a warm rapport with students, clear communication with parents, and a can-do attitude to join our team. Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 36 credit hours in Education or a Music related field (Colorado Teaching license is NOT required)
  • A strong preference is given to candidates with a Music Education degree and/or certification in Orff Schulwerk, Kodaly, or Dalcroze pedagogies
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver And a high moral character necessary to sustain ordered liberty and constitutional self-government
