tactics. Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes. Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources to develop metrics, reports and visualizations of trends and patterns
- Develop and maintain databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
- Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data, produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc
- Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
- Develop reports for the management team stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data to provide recommendations based on data analyses and research
- Assign numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor degree or equivalent Required
- 4-6 years Experience in data analysis and reporting Required
- 1-3 years Experience in Transportation / Logistics Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AS400, Tableau, and Power BI (High proficiency)
- Data interpretation skills (High proficiency)
- Data analysis skills (High proficiency)
- Proficient in statistical methods and tools (Medium proficiency)
- Quantitative and qualitative skills (Medium proficiency)
