- Source obsolete components and find equivalents for legacy customers.
- Review and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Test, debug, and repair electronic components.
- Act as a liaison between internal PCB testers and external customers.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot failing boards.
- Perform PCB layout tasks.
- Enter data for quoting purposes.
- Program SMT machines.
- Associates Degree or higher.
- Understanding of circuitry.
- Coursework, internships, or hands-on experience with electronics and PCBs.
- Knowledge of SMT and/or through-hole rework procedures.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and BOMs.
- Capability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods.
- Visual acuity for working with very small components.
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
- Experience with Altium for manipulating drawings.
- Knowledge of Gerber files.
- Proficiency in PCB troubleshooting.
