We strive for excellence, not only by emphasizing a company culture that accentuates a People Priority environment, but also in the global perception of our work.Position Summary:The Project Architect / Team Lead will be responsible for the independent and collaborative execution of architectural design work across a range of new construction and retrofit projects, primarily in the industrial, process, biopharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors. Under the general guidance of a Senior Architect or Engineer, this role includes design development, production of construction documents, and oversight of contract administration using AutoCAD and Revit. The selected candidate will coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines, ensuring code compliance and architectural integrity throughout all project phases.Core Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design and documentation efforts from concept through construction.
- Coordinate with engineering teams and other disciplines on multi-faceted projects.
- Produce high-quality contract documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Apply knowledge of construction methods, architectural detailing, and materials in design development.
- Perform project site inspections and review shop drawings.
- Administer construction-phase services, ensuring adherence to design intent and applicable codes.
- Interpret and integrate building codes, life safety codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in specification writing and contribute to technical documentation.
- Contribute to master planning, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
- Support quality assurance and compliance with project standards.
- BS in Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant architectural experience.
- Registered Architect with active professional licensure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for architectural drafting and BIM coordination.
- Experience with laboratory, biopharmaceutical, and general manufacturing facilities.
- Strong understanding of architectural systems and construction techniques.
- Familiarity with applicable building and life safety codes.
- Working knowledge of engineering disciplines (structural, MEP) to support interdisciplinary coordination.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in master planning is preferred.
