The CMSE is a grant funded entity that reports to the School of Education at the University of Mississippi.Through collaborative efforts the CMSE provides professional development for K-12 math & science teachers and provides opportunities for K-12 students to engage in the STEM fields. The CMSE fosters a continuous learning community within the department by working across the Professional Learning and K-12 STEM Experiences Divisions. Meets weekly with Program Director
Prepares agendas, reports, presentations as needed

May coordinate events or conferences, from planning and advertising, to contracting for services from vendors, to registration and event completion. 6.Initiates contractual agreements between the University of Mississippi and outside agents for supervisors review and signature.Minimum Education/ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's DegreeSubstitution Statement: An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and at least one year experience with the duties related to the position.
A quality candidate would communicate clearly, possess organizational skills, and exhibit keen attention to detail.
The preferred candidate would also have experience managing day to day operations of a funded project including recruiting, tracking, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
