- Leading and managing projects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget by managing competing priorities, anticipating obstacles, and adjusting plans as needed.
- Working directly with clients and regulatory agency relations.
- Providing subject matter expertise in epidemiology and its application to human health risk assessment and systematic reviews of scientific evidence.
- Demonstrating thought leadership, through activities such as presenting and publishing scientific findings, testifying at administrative and/or court hearings, and participating in local, national, and international scientific and/or trade group meetings
- Maintaining a high degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively with colleagues across disciplines and business units
- Guiding staff in their careers and promoting staff development
- An academic degree in Epidemiology, or related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience including project and people management, familiarity with regulatory risk assessments of chemicals and non-infectious agents, and interaction with regulatory agencies (e.g., USEPA)
- Ability to manage diverse teams as well as external client and regulatory agency relationships
- Orientation toward quantitative methods and knowledge of modern causal inference methods
- Possesses leadership capabilities and has strong written and oral communication skills
