
Associate Director, Channel Expansion & Enterprise Content Optimization

- Lead team of Channel and Platform specialists supporting key areas of expanded Lab support for the business who have primary responsibilities to:
- Develop Plan, Pilot rollout and install new inhouse capabilities for new channels. Build the business case for change, identify the KPIs and successfully prove out the model to take work inhouse
- Manage the platforms supporting the new channels
- Assure seamless execution of work taken into the team and managed for those new defined channels
- Define the product development process and life cycle from inception to product delivery – considering all stages of the process, stakeholders and accountability teams and compliance related requirements to be met.
- The lead is responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of highly complex brand IVAs including developing project plans, creating status reports, conducting weekly status meetings, following up / communicating with all stakeholders to ensure on-time, flawless execution of brand content.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex Veeva CLM development/deployment, leading teams, and managing client interactions.
- Lead and guide in defining product features and functionality needs for new channel work and for new and existing functionality and support team as the new channel and platform product expert.
- Own and manage new channel content updates from scope through execution including scope documentation, managing the Project Scope, and partnering with the internal authoring resources. Set direction with the authoring team and check preview environment work to ensure projects are executed timely and accurately. Create Veeva submissions and manage through review, changes, and approval while partnering with Marketing Operations, authoring team, and Brand marketers.
- Identify and deliver common frameworks and best in class solutions that are enterprise approved and usable across teams that drive faster adoption, faster project timelines.
- Lead forward looking visioning as to key capabilities needed within HCP and Consumer teams to drive forward key goals relative to brand imperatives.
- Work closely with Brand Marketing, Agency partners, data and analytics and other cross functional team members to drive product launches and enhancements and ensure that value propositions, messaging, and marketing activities address unique user needs/pain points.
- Monitor the release process and prioritize the placement of new products or enhancements in a release, balancing organizational objectives, product strategy, and market needs.
- Oversee organizational project plans tied to release schedule, identifying organizational impact resulting from changes to planned timeline and provide brand Governance leadership.
- Be hands-on with content authoring and MRP submission for key project types that are in-housed and enable elimination of hand offs and quick delivery for initiatives that are high priority.
- Account for platform or other related technology needs beyond current core platforms in place that need to be established or introduced to achieve the benefits and allow for streamlined and efficient operations in the new model
- Instantiate a Pilot and Test and learn approach to adopt and modify over time key enhancements to process
- Work with the external agency resources as needed and identify the appropriate mix of internal and external support
- Implement automated solutions and streamline overall end to end process wherever possible.
- Requires a minimum of 12+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in a product management or equivalent role managing large, complex, direct response website(s)
- Proven track record of launching successful web, mobile, email or other channel products
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and software development life cycle process
- In-depth knowledge of the product development and evaluation process. Exposure to Agile development a must.
- Experience developing business use cases and strategic planning
- Understanding of A/B and Multi-variate test design and execution, and analytical tools
- Comprehensive experience with UX design, customer research, and user experience best practices – including the creation of detailed, annotated wireframes
- Knowledge of current web and mobile technologies, and familiarity with how the digital ecosystem is evolving
- In depth knowledge and experience with commercial enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) such as: Adobe Experience Cloud, SDL Tridion, Opentext, Oracle and Sitecore.
- Experience with Enterprise asset management solutions and familiarity with content systems
- Knowledge of site analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
- Requires strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to be effective managing through a highly matrixed organization
- Skills required include business acumen, organizational assessment, creativity, interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities.
