- Hands on development role with technical lead responsibilities
- Work closely with business users to understand processes and capture requirements

- Acquiring business knowledge and system knowledge to further individual development
- Work closely with existing development team to enhance the current Openlink platform including integrating with the Global Commodities application stack
- Must demonstrate drive and initiative, be goal-oriented, dedicated, and self-sufficient.
- Should be able to work well under pressure, adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain focus on key tasks during busy periods
- Responsible for designing and developing a technology stack, leveraging on a combination of existing platforms and building new strategic platforms
- Close interaction with Traders and business users to understand new requirements for applications across the platform, specifically focused on trade modelling and life cycle
- Increase productivity of the technology teams' build and delivery cycles, and design system solutions to maximize operational efficiency of the business processes/workflows
- 7-10 years of development experience
- Strong technical expertise in areas like JVS, Connex Frameworks (including exposure to OpenLink's Java Framework)
- Strong SQL skills (preferably MS SQL Server)
- 7+ years' Experience working with ETRM systems (Endur - OpenLink)
- Service oriented technologies like REST, JSON, Protobuf, Spring Boot, Drop Wizard
- DevOps best practices using tools like JIRA, JUnit, GitLab, Artifactory, Docker, Kibana, Prometheus
- Cloud - either AWS or Azure exposure and understanding of how it can be utilized in a hybrid environment
- Significant work experience within energy trading and risk management
- Solid understanding of the energy / commodity industry end-to-end, Natural Gas, Power, and Emissions products
- Experience in both physical and financial trading environment trading a plus
- Knowledge of US and Canadian Natural gas, Power, and emissions/renewables trading domain. Familiarity with European gas, power, and emissions trading is a plus but not a requirement
- Knowledge of physical trades including storage and transport models, financial trades including nonlinear trades and their valuation
- Familiarity with curve modeling, including volatility setup
