Shift: First Shift | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMAbout the RoleOur Client, a leader in precision optical manufacturing equipment, is seeking a Customer Returns Specialist to join our Germantown team. This is a temp-to-hire, onsite opportunity offering stability, career growth, and competitive pay.In this role, you'll be responsible for processing product returns, coordinating with vendors on repairs, and ensuring credits and replacements are handled accurately and on time. You'll be a key part of maintaining strong customer relationships by making sure returned products are handled quickly and correctly.What You'll DoProcess and track all return merchandise authorizations (RMAs)Evaluate returns and determine disposition (quality issue, wrong item, or other)Work with vendors on repairs and communicate completion timelines to customersEnsure warranty and replacement repairs are properly trackedIssue credits, invoices, and reverse purchase orders when neededMaintain accurate records of returns, credits, and serial numbersProvide reporting on open RMAs and repair statusPartner with the operations and finance teams to ensure customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking For1-2 years of experience in logistics, returns processing, order management, customer service or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); SAP or ERP experience preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh school diploma or GED required; additional training or coursework in logistics or business is a plusWhy Join Us?Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potentialCompetitive pay range: $19.00 - $Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends!)Onsite role with a supportive operations teamPay Details: $19.00 to $22.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
