- Provide strategic input related to technical documentation based on business strategies
- Collaborate with other CV Tech Comm leaders in providing strategic input into the direction and success of the Cardiovascular Technical Communications organization
- Educate business partners on the processes, roles, responsibilities, and expertise of the CV Technical Communications team
- Assist direct reports with establishing clear, measurable performance objectives and perform regular evaluations of those objectives
- Provide direct reports with frequent feedback, coaching and development opportunities
- Partner with marketing, geographies, clinical, legal, regulatory affairs, packaging and labeling, sales force, supply chain, documentation control, translation teams, regulatory agencies, etc. in support of both the CRDN and PVH OUs and business priorities
- Interview, hire, and train technical writers
- Manage team’s project assignments and resource allocation, including engagement in 10Q and AOP.
- Bachelors degree required with a minimum of 5 years of technical, medical or scientific writing/communications experience
- Advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of technical, medical or scientific writing/communications experience
- Knowledge of Medtronic and its products and processes
- Experience effectively managing multiple, changing priorities
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Desire and ability to drive results by working through others to accomplish objectives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong project management skills, including resource planning, organization, and budgeting

PR) locations (USD):$117,600.00 - $176,400.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
