Job Title: Network Systems AdministratorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Systems Administrator to support a mission-critical Satellite GPS program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems, virtualization, and networking, with a proactive approach to system and network reliability. This role involves close collaboration with network engineers and other technical teams to ensure seamless operations and high availability of network infrastructure.Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network circuits to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Implement and document configuration changes across network and system environments.
  • Assist network engineers with design, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform routine health checks, diagnostics, and performance monitoring of systems and networks.
  • Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
  • Ensure systems adhere to security policies and standards.
Essential Skills
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in network/system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Proficiency with VMware environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification is acceptable.
