Job DescriptionWE ARE HIRING!AtkinsRéalis is seeking a High Tech Engineering Intern – Summer 2026 to join our Portland, OR or Chandler, AZ client sites.ABOUT USAtkinsRéalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization. Our depth and breadth of expertise enables us to tackle the most technically complex and time-sensitive projects—driving innovation, resilience, and real-world impact where it matters most.Our Internship Program, Explore, is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it’s like to work in a professional environment and apply what’s learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical and operations support within major High Tech manufacturing accounts.
  • Assist engineers with layout and plan production tasks.
  • Performs simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions.
  • Coordinates operation within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures.
  • Develop templates and support documentation of project management information.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • EXPERIENCE:
  • 0-2 Years experience in a related technical field.
  • EDUCATION:
  • Must have completed 60 hours towards an engineering, construction management, finance or related field by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
  • SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience with Power BI or QS software (preferred)
