We are currently seeking a Mechanical Foreperson to manage Plumbing/HVAC Piping/Sheet metal commercial construction projects.Job DescriptionResponsible for the Installation of commercial HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pipe fitting, brazing, soldering and mechanical layouts. Emphasis on AC refrigeration piping.Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring, and piping diagrams, or manufacture/engineer specifications, to Install units.
Candidate must have experience/skills in AC refrigeration piping installing split systems, VRF systems, and chiller systems.
Candidate must have experience in low voltage wiring for standalone control of systems.
Candidate must have experience in startup procedures of HVAC systems, including VRF, boilers, and chillers.
Operates refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging equipment and service gauges. Following the refrigerant recovery program that the company has put in place with no exception.
Knowledge of VRF systems, split systems, RTU s, boilers, chillers from an installation standpoint. Experience in troubleshooting is a bonus.
Experience in startup of all HVAC equipment.
Install HVAC systems with plans and specifications.
Maintain quality of work, performance and productivity standards set forth by Company
Documents work by completing all necessary paperwork on each/every job and maintaining files via hand-held digital devices issued by company.
Keeps current on all manufacturer s products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
Possess excellent troubleshooting skills to component level is a bonus.
May be required to work varying schedules and shifts to reflect the business need of the Company and customer.
Experience working in the construction field including schools, hospital, medical buildings, etc.
