You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the end client’s network and security infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you may also be required to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.This role will require one day per week onsite at customer location in midtown Atlanta.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage network and security infrastructure to include, but not limited to, LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networksDevelop and/or maintain up-to-date documentation of network architecture(s), design(s), configurations, processes, and proceduresMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely and accurate manner to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and minimal downtimeActively support and assist in the design, planning, and implementation of network segmentation for both wired and wireless networks throughout the enterpriseApply broad technical expertise to address business challengesDevelop an in-depth understanding of the end client’s network and security infrastructure and associated working environment(s)Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovationsProvide technical support to junior network engineers and/or other end client IT staffQualificationsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field) or equivalent experienceCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent professional certifications(s)7+ years of relevant experience in a network engineering or related role, preferably with recent and/or prior experience in healthcareStrong knowledge of network and security architecture, design, technologies, and best practicesStrong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and associated solutions/technologies, preferably within a predominantly Cisco-centric environmentProficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting toolsExcellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skillsStrong communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act independently with minimal supervisionRequired Skills:Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA)Knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)Preferred experience with network segmentation design and implementationPreferred Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)Preferred Cisco StealthWatchPreferred Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Checkpoint)Preferred Claroty MedigateAdditional InformationWork ConditionsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
