Responsible for the efficient running of Shipping & Finished Goods on 1st shift within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location.Job Location:Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.What you will be doing:
  • Oversees the daily activities of operators and production-specific employees in a multi shift, multi department precision electronic component manufacturing operation.
  • Plans and schedules workload to ensure smooth operations and the production of orders in sequence assigned by production control department. Expedites finished orders and the receipt of whenever required to meet customer schedules.
  • Ensures that processing of all parts meets standards and that customer orders are accomplished in accordance with pertinent specifications and high quality control requirements.
  • Ensures that all assigned equipment is in satisfactory working condition with regard to output and safety considerations.
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned
What you will bring along:
  • 1-3 years of Scheduling experience preferred.
