- Lead client engagements (onsite or virtual) addressing safety, compliance, onboarding, and loss control strategy.
- Independently develop and implement risk control programs tailored to client operations and carrier expectations.
- Collaborate with producers to support service planning, account rounding, and renewal preparation.
- Identify, recommend, and oversee implementation of loss mitigation strategies, including behavior-based safety programs, root cause analysis, and performance tracking metrics.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to Field Consultants and support staff to elevate service quality and consistency.
- Support onboarding and training of new hires or junior consultants through knowledge-sharing and field shadowing.
- Conduct advanced safety training, including executive briefings, toolbox talks, and train-the-trainer sessions.
- Regularly evaluate client site safety conditions and program performance; prepare and present findings and strategic recommendations to client leadership.
- Serve as subject matter expert for OSHA/DOT compliance and emerging risk trends, offering internal and client-facing insight.
- Serve as liaison with carrier loss control and claims teams to align risk initiatives.
- Engage with telematics and risk management platforms to extract insights and enhance client adoption.
- Represent Oakbridge at industry events and maintain strong community and client relationships.
- Proven ability to manage complex client engagements independently.
- Strong analytical skills to assess trends and connect data to action.
- Effective communication skills with both field personnel and senior leadership.
- High emotional intelligence and adaptability in challenging client environments.
- Capacity to mentor and train junior consultants or team members in technical and soft-skill development.
- High emotional intelligence and professional presence when navigating complex personalities or resistance to change.
- Ability to learn the insurance sales process and how service supports retention and growth within 30 days of hire.
- 5-7 years of experience in safety, insurance, risk management, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in safety, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience.)
- Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and applicable state/federal safety regulations.
- Experience across industries such as logistics/transportation, construction, and manufacturing.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally; travel required.
- OSHA 30-hour certification (General Industry or Construction).
- P&C Insurance License.
- DOT compliance experience or certification required.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ARM, CHST, or similar credentials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and telematics systems.
- Experience with insurance carrier partnerships and collaborative service delivery models.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience building scalable training programs or risk control resources.
