Location: Metairie, LA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (in-office 2 days/week after initial training) for candidates within commuting distance of Metairie, LA.
Fully remote considered for highly qualified candidates located outside the area.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST
Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 annually
License/Certification Required: Home state adjuster’s license required

You’ll play a critical role in delivering responsive, high-quality claim service—and your voice will be heard every step of the way.Job SummaryAs a Multi-Line Claim Specialist, you will investigate and adjust general liability and related claims across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. This role supports a single dedicated commercial trucking client, offering a consistent and focused workload. You will manage a full desk independently while collaborating with team members and client partners to drive claim resolutions in compliance with best practices, legal standards, and client expectations.Litigation experience is highly preferred, as you will work closely with defense counsel and external vendors.Responsibilities:Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line claims (primarily liability) in compliance with company procedures, state laws, and client requirementsEstablish and maintain reserves within your authority; make reserve recommendations as neededReview and process medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to ensure reasonableness and relatednessNegotiate settlements and authorize payments within established limitsCoordinate with external vendors, including legal counsel, surveillance teams, and nurse case managersMonitor subrogation and pursue recovery where applicableProvide timely and professional communication with clients, claimants, attorneys, and internal stakeholdersAttend mediations, depositions, and hearings as necessaryMaintain a thorough and accurate claim diary and documentationComply with all corporate claim handling standards and special client instructionsParticipate in internal training and knowledge-sharing initiativesQualifications:Required:Minimum of 3 years of general liability and/or multi-line claims experienceHome state adjuster’s license (must be valid and active)Strong understanding of liability claim handling procedures and legal processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and organizational abilitiesComfortable with hybrid work, including in-office collaboration two days per weekHighly Preferred:8+ years of claims experiencePrior litigation handling experienceExperience handling commercial auto or trucking-related claims * AIC, ARM, or CPCU designationPerformance MetricsCompliance with CCMSI’s Best Practices and diary standardsQuality and completeness of file documentationTimeliness of claim resolution and communicationAdherence to client-specific instructions and service expectationsAudit and quality review scoresWhat We OfferFour weeks of paid time off in your first year, plus 10 paid holidaysComprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Short & Long-Term DisabilityEmployer-funded ESOP and 401K plan with company matchOngoing training, mentorship, and advancement opportunitiesA collaborative, employee-owned culture that values input, performance, and growthCompensation & ComplianceThe posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
