Field Service Engineer – Packaging & Automation EquipmentJob ResponsibilitiesInstall and commission automated machinery at customer facilities across the U.S. and Canada (paper bag machinery experience preferred)Perform hands-on testing and adjustments to meet product performance standardsProvide on-site technical support, operator training, and system walk-throughsCommunicate effectively with customers to plan service activities and resolve issuesComplete detailed service documentation and travel reports in a timely mannerCollaborate with internal teams to improve equipment performance and customer satisfactionIdentify recurring technical issues and contribute to solutions and process improvementsRequirementsAt least 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial equipment in a field service, maintenance, or plant operations roleStrong understanding of machine processes and troubleshooting techniquesExperience working with PLCs, drive systems, and automation components (Siemens, AMK, KEB, Festo, Rexroth, or similar)Familiarity with pneumatic systems and mechanical assemblyExcellent communication skills and ability to train customer personnelWilling and able to travel 95% of the time throughout North AmericaFor more manufacturing jobs contact tonya.grimes@gogpac.com
